Definitely Works!
I purchased this about 4 weeks ago and started seeing mild results around week 3. I was skeptical but desperate and I can honestly say I’m pleasantly surprised with how it is actually working!The pros: easy to set up & use, customizable, able to be used everywhere, mostly unable to be felt, my skin is smoother and already hair is growing back thinner & more slowly with some areas bare.The cons: 1-mine gets kind of hot (the machine not the glass for the treatment window) in about 5-7 minutes. I have to let it cool down after doing armpits & Brazilian wax areas, and again after each leg. 2- you have to shave beforehand each time & 3- if you don’t get a good shave it can kinda “zap” a little over the hairs which isn’t painful but can be uncomfortable if it’s repetitive.Overall I am extremely pleased and recommend this brand to everyone who will listen. I am a white woman with brown hair and it works well but definitely recommend checking the chart to see if it will work for you/your skin & hair color combo.

love it
I love that I don’t have to shave everyday now. I bought this because for real who has time to shave every frigging day. I absolutely hate the feeling of stubble on my legs. I was using it one time a week but recently switched to 2 times a week. and I have been using for maybe 4 weeks now. I maybe shave 1 time now. I can’t believe how well it’s working. I have been doing my arms and legs, but recently started arm pits, and im surprised at the fact that it doesn’t hurt. I have sensitive skin so I was worried that it was gonna cause some skin irritations but nothing. I have recommended it to so many friends.

Great design
I have had this product awhile, however I personally have not gotten the results that I have hoped. I was consistent for sometime and used it every other day. I ended up having a baby and took time off from it for awhile and tried using it again, I ended up losing hope and not using it often.I will try again to see if I get results. I am fair skinned with dark hair.The design is great and fits perfectly in your hand. It is not very heavy either. It makes noise when plugged in but nothing too loud. It is painless. I did accidentally do it on a tip of my tattoo and that did hurt. So do not recommend doing it on tattoos.*I decided to take photos of the product because I wanted to try out my new backdrop color*

Best thing
I’m middle eastern and this thing is magic I have extremely thick black hair and it works wonders but you do need to be consistent and read the direction carefully like shaving a day before using the laser. It’s worth the price rather than dropping over a thousand on 4 sessions at a laser removal spa

Disappointments all around.
As a transwoman who is forced to stay closeted offline, I needed a solution to the gender dysphoria being caused by body and facial hair and settled on this IPL device to help reduce hair growth with hopes of managing some degrees of permanency if possible. I was particularly excited when the instructions warned men against using on their face as the results could be permanent. 18 weeks later though and the disappointments have piled up.When I started using the product I followed the weekly session instructions and started to find progress on most of my body after about 6 weeks. By the time I reached the end of the 12-week program Most of my body hair growth had been almost completely eliminated. There were only a few stubborn areas that I knew would require pushing the optional 20-week program. Then there was my facial hair.After 18 weeks there is barely any sign of progress slowing down the growth of my facial hair, and I barely have any to begin with. I can’t grow a full beard, yet this product has barely made a difference in the amount of hair I grow on my face. It hasn’t slowed it down at all and I typically fully regrow the maximum limit of my facial hair between sessions. As these are weekly sessions it could not be more disappointing. Worse, the monthly upkeep I was supposed to switch to for the rest of my body has almost completely reverted to full weekly sessions again as the effects of the hair reduction seem to be fading. While I’m no longer using as powerful of a setting for maintenance due to time constraints, that I’ve had to switch to weekly maintenance is a far cry from what I had hoped for.On the subject of power, the speed the product is advertised as having is only possible on the weakest setting. As you increase the power, the time between flashes gets significantly longer making covering large areas in a timely manner impossible. The automatic flash option does not help much either as you have to keep the flash activation button depressed for the automatic mode to function. As the device is shaped like some shampoo bottles, this quickly become uncomfortable and leaves me having to hold the device in ways that are not ideal around some areas.The product itself is not particularly durable either unfortunately. I have hard floors, and a short drop caused a cracking of the case the required me to trim and file the plastic to prevent it from scraping me while operating the device. The storage case on the other hand is sturdy little case that I’ve had all of no problems with.Ultimately, the product did work, but regression, lack of true automatic flashes, and no real effect on facial hair leaves me finding the product to be only a bare minimum device in functionality with too many frustrations to make it worth recommending.

Best out there.
Ordered this in December for Xmas and it is now mid February. This thing WORKS! It is compact and easy to put away. Doesn’t hurt or burn. It has a nice cool touch when activated. So far, I have zero hair on my underarms and bikini. Starting my legs now. Best product out there.

You have to really commit to it! Review update!
Update. Today is September 27th 2023. I know i said i was gonna update 2 months after, it was been a busy summer. Anyhow, Am almost hair free. I still get a few strays here and there. I still zap away at least twice a week/once a week. I got the confidence i never had since my teen years. And it feels amazing.To all my ladies out there. Commit to it. It was one of the best investments I’ve made on myself. Must share that i apply aloe vera gel after every use.Good luck to all of you struggling with facial hair.******** ******** ********* ********** ********Am a female on my mid 30’s, i have struggle with facial hair since i was a teen. No PCOS have ever been diagnosed. I had laser hair removal in my early 20’s, as a result i got what i feel was twice as much hair back and scarring of my skin. I have tried everything out there, hair growth minimizers, wax, plucking, laser hair removal you name it. First month of using ULike IPL i took it “easy” zapping twice each area which is what customer service recommended.But three weeks ago i started zapping 4 times each area. This is what my skin tolerates, by no means am advising anyone to do the same, this is what has worked for me. My chin has been my major concern and i keep working on it; today marks 2 months of zapping away every 3 days. As you can see in the pictures the hair is not completely gone, but this is a big achievement for me. I will update my review in two months from now hoping to be hairless for the first time since my teen years. i did armpits, legs, arms, upper lip and bikini area, committed to do it every three days zapping twice each area for 2 weeks, hair is 90% gone and i continue to do it now once every 2 weeks. Soon it will be once a month for those areas.I am writing this review with the only purpose of helping other women that suffer the same condition. If you want it to work you need to COMMIT!

Be patient, it works!
I am not good at consistent self care, which is one of the reasons I was hoping to lessen the amount of shaving. That being said I have been using this on my legs, underarms, stomach, bikini line and face for a couple months now. I have not used it more than once a week on any target area, but even so I am seeing a difference in the growth of my hair. Especially on my legs.Pros:1) The cooling technology on the light works – at the highest setting you feel a brief pulse of heat, but it is instantly cooled.2) Effective – but be patient, even with lighter tan skin and dark hair, this takes time to have an effect. If you follow the directions of hitting your target areas a couple times in the first four weeks, it will probably be quicker.3) The light flashes pretty quickly once it is in contact with the skin, so it goes pretty quickly. I think I spend about 10 minutes on my legs, and 10 minutes for everything else.4) Love the box it comes in, makes storing the device in my bathroom linen closet easy and convenient for quick access.Cons:1) There is pain, very brief, acute, minor pain, but it is there. You are burning hair follicles with an intense beam of light, so to think you won’t feel it is naive. This isn’t a big con, because waxing and plucking are so much worse.2) The device vents in the exact spot where your hand holds it, so handling can sometimes be awkward.3) The flash of the device also comes out from the vents, so if you are looking at the vents when working it, wear the provided glasses. Or look away? I already wear glasses, so that’s usually what I do.4) Takes time. But most good things do.Anyway, overall, I’m very happy with the purchase, and like seeing the change in my hair growth! Much better and easier to manage, even with inconsistent treatments!

I’m still waiting for results, 2 months. I know it takes time. It seems to be very well built, it hasn’t failed in any way. I have some serious chin hairs that I am working on, so we’ll see.

Does not hurt to use at all!

I’ve been using the product for about 1 1/2 months now and I’ve used it on my under arms and bikini area only because my leg hair is too blonde for it to work there. So far I’ve noticed the hair in my bikini area coming back slower and slower and seems like fewer hairs are coming in. The hair I’ve been using it on is dirty blonde to light brown and so I do think my hair might not be dark enough for it to fully work and it may just take more time for me. I’ve been using it once a week, but so far I like how quick it is to use and that it’s completely pain free. The sapphire ice cooling affect really works!!
